Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry is an indispensable technique for deciphering complex cellular processes and interactions in a variety of biological systems. Manipulation of these systems paired with multiparameter analysis allows to gain insights into regulatory mechanisms or even into defects inducing the switch from a normal, healthy to a disease state.

Within the past 50+ years, the development of cytometers and numerous reagents and model systems have amplified the power of flow cytometry which became a fundamental tool for life science research. State of the art equipment together with high performance fluorophores offer new possibilities for high content analysis using multicolor and multiplexing protocols, while they ensure consistent and reliable data.

This seminar will be an excellent opportunity to learn about STATE-OF-THE-ART instrumentation for dedicated benchtop flow cytometry. This includes high performance systems ranging from small to medium throughput all the way to the high content, 1536 well capable iQue Screener HD for high throughput screening approaches.

ACEA Biosciences Inc.

ACEA has introduced the NovoCyte™ – a customizable & expandable high performance flow cytometer which offers exceptional performance at low investment costs.

This powerful benchtop analyzer addresses the full range of current and future multi-parameter cellular analysis research needs.

IntelliCyt (a Sartorius Company)

IntelliCyt’s screening platform merges high throughput screening with high content flow cytometry.

The iQue Screener together with the unique ForeCyt software enables you to miniaturize your multiplexed cell and bead based assays to a few microliters, conserving samples and reducing reagent costs.
