Stabilizor T1 System

Mission - to stabilize biological samples

The Stabilizor system
Protein and peptide degradation begins at the same moment a tissue is sampled. As a consequence, vital information about the tissue's original biological state may be destroyed or distorted, leading to inter-sample variation and the risk of incorrect data interpretation.

Denator has developed a complete system for stabilization, standardization and tracking; consisting of Stabilizor T1 instrument in combination with the Maintainor card.

This system addresses the problem of ex vivo protein degradation and modification. The Stabilizor T1 system eliminates all enzymatic activity, instead of only pausing or reducing it.

Maintainor card

Biological samples are to be placed in the consumable; Maintainor. It has been especially developed to suit the high requirements of the stabilizing system and therefore allow no plastic interference and features such as the inbuilt valve which ensures the vaccum needed for stabilization of the sample.

Delivery

Maintainor comes in packages of multiples of 12. The Maintainor card is for single use only.

Storage

The Maintainor card can be stored in the freezer down to -80 °C if required. If the biological sample can't be stabilized immediately, the user may keep the sample in the Maintainor card until a suitable time for stabilization. The sample can also be re-analyzed after storage.

Vacuum system

The Stabilizor instrument has a fully automatic vaccum system which ensures less oxidation of the biological samples and a higher accuracy of treatment by enabling efficient heat transfer to the sample. The system includes a replaceable needle.

Start button

The Stabilizor system is easy to use and comes with an explanatory user manual. The only physical button on the instrument is the start button which is situated above the touch screen and is utilized to start stabilization process.

Laser profile

The instrument utilizes a class 1 laser system to calculate the size of the sample. Depending on size, different stabilization treatment profiles are utilized. This feature ensures a higher reproducibility of the treatment of samples.

Tracking system

In order to improve the standardization of sample handling, the system includes a tracking system which logs all the sample history such as post sampling time, treatment time and temperature, size of sample, user and date. All the information is stored on a USB memory.
