Introducing the LUNA-FX7™, Logos' most powerful cell counter to date, with unmatched cell counting accuracy, a maximum counting volume of 5.1 µL (10 times that of conventional cell counters), all new optics, dual fluorescence and brightfield illumination, a fast and precise autofocus, and multichannel pipette-ready 8-channel slides to count up to eight sample simultaneously.

The End to the Accuracy Debate

The effect of cell counting volume on accuracy is often overlooked. Manual counting and most automated cell counters detect cells in a counting volume of ~ 0.5 µl. The LUNA FX7™ utilizes a counting volume of upto 5.1 µl, lowering error and %CV for each count. Improved declustering algorithms and precise autofocus further add to the LUNA FX7™ ‘s accuracy and reliability.

Easy, Flexible and Robust

Not only the simple and efficient operation via intuitive touchscreen controls, Brightfield and dual fluorescent detection options, multiple counting modes, and customizable protocols allow you to easily optimize for your cell and sample type. Counting results may be exported as a CSV summary or a comprehensive PDF report with raw and tagged images. With an internal 250GB hard drive no additional computer is needed and data may be exported via Wi-Fi, ethernet, or USB flash.

Trust Your Data

The LUNA FX7™ validation slides and QC software allow you to be confident and trust in your data. Fluorescent or brightfield validation slides with fixed, permanent beads provide exact concentrations while the QC features provide the ability to store, monitor, and analyze quality control data.

Throughput, Control, and Efficiency

The LUNA FX provides the ability to use multiple slide formats including 8-, 3-, 2-, and single chamber slides. The intuitive user-interface allows you to easily switch between slide formats and designate the exact chambers that are counted – allowing unused chambers to be used in the future. With ‘One and Done’ slide insertion, a slide only needs to be inserted once into the counter without having to remove and reinsert the slide to count different chambers.
